
The thought of moving makes me break out in hives or chicken pox or measles or something serious! Actually, moving is not the problem; the problem is getting ready to move, as in packing the stuff you want to keep and discarding the stuff you do not want to keep. This, however, brings on another problem--unpacking the stuff you wanted to keep and placing it in the "right" place in the new home.
Because I happen to be married to someone who cannot discard anything, it is difficult for me to get past the first problem, much less take on the second one. Moving is just, well it is just difficult (at least in my opinion!)
Paul could move around rather easily because he didn't have a problem discarding the stuff he didn't want; in fact, after he became a Christian, he didn't have anything left to discard, unless he wanted to discard his shoes or his underwear (which, I doubt!). I think I know why he chose "tent making" as his vocation: he always had someplace to get into and, therefore, out of the rain (although, I don't think it rained very much where he traveled).
Anyway, I said all of that, so I could say this: our own Robey deLoache has moved from one house to another (see above picture). I don't know what all she has chosen to discard, but I do know that the house she is moving into is much smaller than the one she is leaving; consequently, something in addition to Lee has to go! He didn't take up much space, anyway!
Divorce is never easy but then neither is moving!
Seriously, we all wish Robey and Lee God's very best, as they begin their new lives, journeying down separate paths. As it stands now, Robey will be continuing her journey with us, and Lee will be worshiping with another group of believers. It is my prayer that both of them soar like eagles, as they journey to Jesus!

It is 3:52am and I'm unable to sleep. I've been lying awake in bed "soaring spiritually" because my head is filled with all (no, only some) of the benefits of being one of those chosen to believe. The Holy Spirit reminded that me that I fly even higher when I share with others the "fire" in my soul. I'm doing so on the blog since you've been encouraging us to view it each day. So, I trust many will read this and be encouraged in the Lord.
Some benefits of our existence (for he has already died and rose again and the execution of his will is complete;John 15: 15-17, John 19:30) and our inheritance (for our present sufferings are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us Romans 8:18) For one day at our death or when He comes to get us he will give us a new indestructible body and we will forever be with our Lord. 2Corithians 4:16-18,1Thessalonians 4:13-18.
1. We're forgiven. Our debt is paid in full and no account of wrongs will ever stand against us again. Our sin though red like crimson has been washed white as snow.
2. We're accepted. We are direct descendents of the great I am. Our identity is secure for it is in Him and He is eternally faithful.
3.We've been given unlimited access to His kingdom and all his riches. I been told that when you visit the White House, you are only allowed in certain rooms. But, the King of Kings has entitled us to be permanent residents of his palace,(a structure not made with hands, for He himself resides in us). And we have unlimited access to every room in his palace (no I.D. required for His truth is written on our hearts and our names are written on his hand). Even the "Holy of Holies". One of my favorite scriptures is in Matthew 27: 50-53, it says when Jesus gave up his spirit the curtain of the temple was torn in two from the "TOP to the Bottom". Now the curtain that veiled the Holy of Holies was no sheer piece of cloth. No human hand could have torn it in two. But, God did and he did so from top to bottom so that we might know He's the one who initiates the invitation. And what an invitation it is. He bids us by name to come in, sit down and tell him the deepest longings of our hearts.
4. We will one day rule and reign with Him. Oh! What Glory That will be when I look upon His face and He welcomes me home. I'll forever be with Him and my loved ones gone before and saints of all time and I know them each by name and they will know and recognize me. What a family reunion that will be.
This is a very abbreviated list of all that is ours as His children, but what a great list it is.
I love you all and pray that Out of His glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work in us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21.
