Our meeting last night was very encouraging to me. In the first place, the weather was, shall I say, inclement, but you came anyway! In the second place, it seems that everyone is "buying" into the vision of simple church and that is very encouraging! In the third place, Dudley and Debbie are doing an excellent job, as they attempt to involve everyone in the journey.
To be honest, I am quite-convinced that there are many people, who would love to be a part of a church that truly practiced the simplicity and purity of devotion to Jesus--no frills, no programs, no pressures--where fellowship is exciting, where worship is genuine, where the Word is taught, and where the sacraments are celebrated.
As we begin to make others aware of what we enjoy and invite them to enjoy it with us, I believe we will see some beautiful and wonderful things happen!
