For those of you who like to be prepared, my text comes from Luke 15, the portion of it that tells the story of what we frequently call "the prodigal son." Tomorrow, however, I want us to take a rather close look at this prodigal's father--a very unusual father, indeed.
To all of you fathers, I wish a happy and blessed "Father's Day!"
PS: As I told you earlier, today I spoke at a long-time friend's funeral; I thought you would appreciate seeing these pictures, as they are probably as unique for you, as they are for me.
