As most of you know, I had the pleasure of officiating at Jeff's & Christie's wedding, the one that took place in the middle of a tropical storm on Jekyll Island, GA! To be sure, it was one of those weddings that I will never forget, not only because of the storm, but also because of the people--wonderfully, hospitable people, especially the bride and groom!
Because I do not want to lose my perfect attendance record, I offer the enclosed picture as evidence that I did attend a church service that weekend--not just a church service but a CHURCH service, the kind where all of God's creation sings and claps her hands, even the sea makes her holy sounds!
