If my count is correct, 16 folk showed up tonight for leftovers, and if my count continues to be correct they ate way more than 16 hot dogs! Now those "dogs" were done right; I cooked them for four hours in a crock pot, along with a bottle of beer. I guess they were good 'cause they disappeared (for the most part!). Annis made a homemade Peach Cobbler which vanished in the twinkling of an eye; I never even saw the thing!
We "officially" started our study of Smith's book, "The Power of the Blood Covenant" and in my opinion, it was a good start. We talked about the chapter "Welcome to the World of Covenant" and, as most of you know, this is right up my "alley"! I am so grateful to God for the New Covenant, the one He made between Jesus and Him, the one that Jesus guarantees! Without it, we all would be eternally damned and that is for sure!
Anyway, I am excited about this time of study and I trust that it will be beneficial to each of us!
